Kundalini Yoga and kriyas require you do some of the challenging movements and postures, especially of the arms and the legs. The kundalini yoga needs to be practiced with care, or else it can injure the muscles. Gentle movements can help in nourishing and lubricating the joints, however, if there is no proper alignment then the kriyas and yoga can aggravate the injuries.

These are present in vertical alignment in the back of the body. The chakras of the body are like spheres of energy that functions like gateways from which the energy leaves the body. It is believed that every single chakra is responsible for energizing every part of the physiology.
Every chakra in our body has different locations and influences different things:
- First Chakra: It is located in the perineum and influences the urogenital system of the body.
- Second chakra:It is located just below the navel, and it also influences the urogenital system.
- Third Chakra: It is locatedinsolar plexus, and it influences the digestive system.
- Fourth Chakra: It is located near the heart and influences the circulatory system.
- Fifth Chakra: It is located inthe throat and influences the respiratory system.
- Sixth Chakra: It is located forehead and influences the central nervous system.
- Seventh Chakra: It is located crown of the head and influences the central nervous system.
By devotedly practicing Kundalini Yoga it is believed that the most powerful energy also known as the kundalini energy lies dormant and at the base of the spineand therefore upon awakening makes its journey upwards, energizing every chakra.
